Mark learned all he knows about customer service and poker in the United States. He is very good at both! His first 'career' was in the hotel and restaurant industries where he developed a deep understanding of the mechanics of the hospitality sector as well as a sense of style: Hardly avoidable if you work in the French Quarter of New Orleans and in the hippest upscale boutique hotels in the US.Having achieved degrees in both finance and business administration at Northeastern University, Mark moved into property. In Boston he managed a variety of apartment buildings; became certified by the Institute of Real Estate management and won a MetLife Award for Excellence in Asset Management.As the Head of Operations for Go Native, Mark has developed a strong team covering Guest Services, Validation and Housekeeping. He has a passion for both travel and photography and when not playing poker, he enjoys bridge, billiards, darts and any other game that requires a trip to the pub.
